This spring, we teamed up with some amazing organizations making big moves for a stronger, more sustainable community—and with your help, the impact was real.

From raising donations for Neighborhood House through SW Hope, to growing school gardens with Grow Portland for Earth Month, to funding youth sports through a sponsorship and fundraising event for Columbia Little League — it’s been a season full of purpose and generosity.

To everyone who dined with us, donated, or helped spread the word—thank you!

Community support is at the heart of what we do, and we’re honored to be part of this. So let's get into the April Charitable Partnership Recap

This April, we were proud to take part in SW Hope, an annual community food drive hosted by Neighborhood House—a longtime Portland nonprofit working to fight hunger and support families in need across Southwest Portland.

SW Hope brings together local faith communities, schools, and businesses each spring to raise food and funds for the Neighborhood House Food Pantry, one of the busiest in the area. This is our third year of participating in SW Hope and with demand for food assistance continuing to grow, this year’s campaign was more important than ever.

Our restaurants joined the effort by hosting six events throughout the month of April, with a portion of proceeds going directly to the cause. Thanks to the generosity of our guests and the hard work of our teams, we’re thrilled to share that we raised $3,881.98 to support Neighborhood House’s vital work.

Grow Portland & Earth Month

In honor of Earth Month, we partnered with Batanga Tequila, Clear Creek Distillery, and Dhōs N/A Spirits to support Grow Portland, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting schools and communities through hands-on garden education. Grow Portland's mission—to help students connect with food, nature, and each other through outdoor learning—is one we’re proud to stand behind.

To support their work, we featured two special beverages throughout April and donated $2 from every drink sold directly to Grow Portland. Thanks to your enthusiasm, we’re excited to share that together we raised $2,116 to support garden-based learning in Portland schools. Thanks to an additional donation of $300 from the folks at Batanga Tequila and Clear Creek Distillery, a total of $2,416 was raised for Grow Portland this year!

Your support helps Grow Portland continue to cultivate green spaces, deepen food knowledge, and strengthen community connections—all through the power of the garden.

Columbia Little League Sponsorship & Fundraiser

At Bless Your Heart Burgers, we believe in cheering loud, playing fair, and giving back to the communities that support us. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Columbia Little League this season—and help keep Portland’s little sluggers swinging for the fences!

This year, we made a $1,500 donation to support several of their youth teams, covering essentials like uniforms, gear, and field time. And thanks to an incredible turnout at our recent fundraising night, we raised an additional $418 to add to that total!

Of course, we’re always rooting for the home team—so kids 12 and under in any sports uniform or Portland Pickles gear can enjoy our Little Slugger Special:

🍔 A kids burger or 2-piece chicken + small fry for just $10.

Whether they’re celebrating a win or just working up an appetite on the field, we’ve got your little athletes covered.
