April is Earth Month, so join us in raising a glass for a great cause! Sesame Collective has partnered with Batanga Tequila, Clear Creek Distillery and Dhos N/A Spirits to shake up a delicious Proof and No Proof Cocktail to raise support for Grow Portland.
What is Earth Month!?
Earth Month is an annual event facilitated by Earth Day Oregon. Earth Day Oregon connects businesses with environmentally focused nonprofits to raise money for the partnered nonprofit. Last year they helped facilitate partnerships with 77 different nonprofits and 240 businesses resulting in upwards of $250,000 raised.
Grow Portland x Sesame Collective
As we enter our 4th year of partnership with GROW Portland for Earth Month, and we find ourselves amidst the rapidly changing landscape for funding for public school education, non profits, and more; we know that now, more than ever, organizations such as GROW Portland, need our support.
Sesame Collective has a vision that we can make the world a better place by bringing people together over a shared love of food, beverage and service. Supporting Grow Portland was a no brainer for us: they support schools and communities by facilitating hands-on garden experiences that foster connections to food, nature and each other. We share an ethos: that we are better together, that we can use food as a vessel for creating those connections.
How does it work...?
This year we've created two drinks that we'll be serving at Mediterranean Exploration Company, Shalom Y'all, Yalla, Dolly Olive, and Bar Dolly. We'll be donating $2 of each drink sold and we've partnered with Batanga Tequila (Instagram), Clear Creek Distillery (Instagram), and DHŌS N/A Spirits (Instagram) to make this all possible. So what is on the menu....!?
