PDX Staycation - Winter Edition
Portland Winter Light Festival | 2/6-2/8 & 2/13-2/15
This winter, downtown is inviting Portlanders to show up for Portland. PDX Staycation brings together two weekends of dining, arts, shopping, and local experiences—all alongside the glowing installations of the Winter Light Festival. It’s a reminder of what makes this city special in the quieter months: good food, creative energy, and time spent together. Whether you’re booking a hotel stay or just heading downtown for the evening, it’s a great excuse to explore and reconnect.
Portland Night Market | 2/13–2/14
The Portland Night Market returns to the Central Eastside on February 13 and 14, bringing together 175+ local vendors celebrating food, culture, music, drinks, and retail. It’s free, open to all ages, and full of the kind of small businesses that make this city feel like home. Come wander, snack, shop, and meet some of Portland’s incredible makers.
Portland Timbers Home Opener | 2/21 at 7:30pm
The Timbers kick off their home season on February 21, and the energy downtown is always something special on match nights. If you’re heading to Providence Park, we’d love to see you at Dolly Olive before or after—grab a bite, settle in, and start the evening on a good note before the cheers begin.
OMSI After Dark: Fantasy & Folklore | 2/25, 6–10pm
OMSI After Dark leans into magic this month with a Fantasy & Folklore theme—complete with science, storytelling, and encouraged costumes (sweats still welcome). Before or after your adventure, stop by Shalom Y’all for a meal and keep the evening going. It’s a fun, playful night out that pairs well with good food and great company.
